We don’t sell our kittens at lower prices because we have too many kittens to care for or socialize at the same time. We never have large quantities of kittens available. We never raise our Manx in buildings outside. We spay and neuter our retired breeders and find them quality homes. Although, more pet quality kittens (tailed or stubby/semi tailed) than show quality kittens are born. We breed our cats in hopes of producing show quality Manx kittens (rumpies) in each litter. We specialized in short hair when we began but now produce both short and long hair (Cymric) Manx in our litters. We preferred to breed for quality not quantity. We produce Manx with sound bloodlines, charming personalities and solid bone structure.Īs a rule, we never breed our females to fill demand or to simply make a profit from by selling their kittens. There are low health related issues linked to the genetic mutation associated with this breed if bred responsibly. Keeping strict breeding standards has proven effective for us for many years. Without soundness, you have no solid ground to build on. Soundness is very important if you’re to be serious about breeding Manx cats and owning them. With extensive knowledge of the Manx breed cat, it’s genetic mutations and limitations since 1996 we feel we have the ability to produce what we seek. We selectively breed hoping to achieve breed standard and show quality in each litter. Because we care about what we produce, our main goal and focus is to produce sound, healthy, well socialized Manx kittens. Our Manx cats are never housed in outside buildings. We treat our Manx cats humanely, not like livestock or for profit only, like some animal breeders. Each cat has a story, its own personality and is very special to us. Our kittens are held and touched from birth until they go into their new homes. We interact and socialize with them one on one. All of our Manx cats are our beloved pets. We’re located centrally in rural Pennsylvania, close to State College, PA. We are a small, home based, hobby breeder service. Over the years a lot has changed, however our love and passion for this breed has not. She was my mentor, longtime friend, Manx breeder and CFA Allbreed judge. Shortly after, our first registered breeding Manx pair were purchased from Barbara St.
